Marketing Community Radio - A Comprehensive Marketing Guide for Broadcasters'Marketing Community Radio' covers a broad range of topics relevant to the needs of community radio. It originally began as a fundraising manual, but it became apparent that more information was needed about marketing techniques appropriate for community radio stations. The traditional supporters of non-profit organisations - government and philanthropic trusts - have had increasing demands placed upon them in recent years and cannot be expected to significantly increase their involvement. Consequently, a promising path for community broadcasters involves marketing their stations, programs and airtime. This publication was researched and prepared by Max MacDonald for and on behalf of the Community Broadcasting Foundation as a guide for stations in promoting their services to their communities and audiences. However, it does not necessarily represent the views of the Community Broadcasting Foundation as such. Copyright for "Marketing Community Radio" is held by the Community Broadcasting Foundation.
