Amrap Grants - Program PromotionFunds are available to increase the audience of Australian music programs on community radio stations in non-Metropolitan areas. Amrap grants contribute to the promotion and development of contemporary Australian music and musicians by facilitating airplay through the community broadcasting sector. Applications are accepted twice a year in March and September. Consideration of Amrap Grants is the responsibility of the Australian Music Grants Advisory Committee. > Find out more about Grants Advisory Committees EligibilityYou can apply for an Amrap Program Promotion grant if you are:
Creative partnerships between stations and organisations whose goals are compatible with those of community broadcasting are encouraged, however the application must come from the station. Grants are not available to stations broadcasting under a narrowcast licence. A station with a temporary licence must have been on air for at least two years cumulatively prior to applying. Additional conditions are imposed on temporary licensees with regard to ownership of assets purchased with the grant.
