CBOnline Grants - Outside Broadcast Equipment

Outside Broadcast Equipment grants are available to assist stations to purchase IP based outside broadcasting (OB) equipment.  The grants assist with the maintenance and development of general community radio broadcasting throughout Australia. This grant opportunity will only be offered in 2009/10. 

Consideration of Outside Broadcast Equipment grants is the responsibility of the Online Grants Advisory Committee.

Eligibility

  • a community radio station with a long-term or a temporary licence

A station with a temporary licence must have been on air for at least two years cumulatively prior to applying.  Additional conditions are imposed on temporary licensees with regard to ownership of assets purchased with the grant.

Stations who currently have operational IP based outside broadcasting equipment are not eligible to apply.

Application Procedure

  1. Read the general information for all applicants and the grant guidelines.

  2. Complete an Application Form (O2).

  3. Mail a hard copy of forms with original signatures and any required attachments to:

If you provide an email address on your application form, we will confirm receipt of your application by email.

Emailed and faxed applications will not be accepted.
