Community radio and television stations may be eligible for funding from sources other than the CBF.

- GrantsLINK - the Australian Government community grants site featuring the GrantsFINDER and extensive links.
- Culture and Recreation Portal - featuring an online database containing over 1,400 grants and services from over 1,200 organisations and enabling users to find information on Australian grants and services for the cultural sector.
Other online resources that may assist in identifying grant opportunities:
- Ourcommunity.com.au is a marriage of business and community goals that aims to foster the growth and development of the community and non-profit sector in Australia. They offer monthly Easy Grants and Raising Funds newsletters (on a subscription basis) as well as other resources on running successful community organisations, boards etc.
- Philanthropy Australia is the national membership organisation for grantmaking trusts and foundations. Their website offers publications and extensive Australian philanthropy links and resources. The Australian Directory of Philanthropy - a comprehensive source of information on non-government funding opportunities listing around 400 Australian trusts & including information and tips on seeking funds from philanthropic trusts - can be purchased online.
- Western Sydney Regional Information & Research Service(WESTIR) - offers links and other resources. The Funding Calendar can be purchased online.
