CBOnline ResourcesOnline Development grants are available to assist the development of innovative online technologies as a means of distributing digital community radio program content to audiences and other community radio stations. Below is a list of the completed resources from projects we have funded in this grants category. MediaPointMediaPoint is a solution to securely and effortlessly share content across the sector. A provider can drop audio, video, documents or any file into a folder on their computer, and within minutes it will be copied to a folder on the computer of anyone who has subscribed to that content. Program Distribution System (PDS)PDS is internet based software which lets you to share your files with other users. Registered users can receive program segments automatically and send files to other users in your company or users in other companies directly. Resources for RadioResources for Radio is a free online catalogue to find useful tools, ask questions about resources and share your knowledge with others who make radio. BentokitThe Bentokit community project exists to foster the development of free and open source software tools for like-minded broadcasters. At this time these tools are Retromod, a modular media management and administration system; and Flywire, a playout client. Both applications will be freely available to use and modify. Radio GagaRadio Gaga is a computer-generated show prep site that aggregates stories from show prep sources worldwide. Mobile Broadcasting ManualEdge Radio in Hobart has developed an instruction manual to empower community radio stations with the know-how to set up a cheap, useful and adaptable live broadcast unit that uses audio streaming through Australia's mobile telecommunications networks. The WireThe Wire is a daily current affairs program broadcast on Community and Indigenous radio stations around Australia. The Wire is available via the Community Radio Network (CRN) satellite and the National Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS) satellite to more than 160 stations in areas ranging from city to regional to remote Indigenous communities. IndigiTUBEIRCA has developed IndigiTUBE as a forum to celebrate and enjoy media produced by Indigenous people living in the remotest parts of Australia. Digital ConvergenceThe Digital Convergence project identified software being developed by Australian community radio stations that could be useful for other stations.
