CBF RSS News Feeds

The CBF website supports RSS News Feeds/Channels. RSS - which stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary; is an easy way to view updates of the news, resources, sector and grant articles from the CBF website.

All you require is a News Reader application that can browse the content of RSS compatible websites. Some News Readers can even alert you to when articles of interest are published.

An ever increasing range of News Readers are available with some of the most popular including:

Windows SharpReaderNews GatorFeedDemon and  AmphetaDesk

OS XMulleNewzNetNewsWire Lite and  AmphetaDesk

GNU/LinuxStraw

Browser based -  Mozilla's Firefox has built in support for RSS News feeds with its live bookmarks . Firefox also has a range of extensions that also allow you to view RSS News Feeds.

Email clients - Some of the latest email clients such as Mozilla's Thunderbird have built in support for RSS.

You can also try searching for "RSS newsreader" or visit the Google RSS directory.

Copy any of these RSS links into your RSS Reader or RSS capable browser or email client.

Please refer to your RSS Reader's help file for information on subscribing to a news feed.

If you use the Firefox browser, this page supports Firefox Live Bookmarks. Just click on the live feed icon firefox rss icon on the bottom right corner of the browser. Clicking on the icon and selecting an RSS feed will bring up the Add Bookmark dialog. Select 'OK' . The News Feed headlines will be visible from within Firefox's bookmarks. These headlines will be change as soon as the CBF website is updated.
