Acknowledging the CBF

Using the CBF logo

  • Always use the logo supplied by the CBF -- logo files for downloading can be found below.
  • Never recreate or amend the logo yourself, and never get a designer, artist or computer operator to recreate it for you. Do not scan the logo from a hard copy.
  • The size, shape, position and weight relationships of the logo must be maintained in any resizing of the logo such that the integrity remains intact.

Acknowledging the CBF in audio productions

It is a condition of funding that clients of the CBF acknowledge the CBF's support in audio productions produced with the assistance of the funds in the following form:

Acknowledging the CBF in video productions

It is a condition of funding that clients of the CBF acknowledge the CBF's support in video productions produced with the assistance of the funds with the CBF logo accompanied by words to the effect of:

Acknowledging the CBF in publications

It is a condition of funding that clients of the CBF acknowledge the CBF's support and include the CBF logo in all promotional material and publications (e.g. program guides, newsletters, training resources). The following acknowledgement must be used next to the logo:

Acknowledging the CBF on another website

Low-resolution versions of the CBF logo are available below. The logo should appear exactly as displayed, and should not be resized or amended in any way. The dimensions should be set at 'pixels x pixels' so that the logo is not distorted. You must also link to the Community Broadcasting Foundation website from the logo.


Colour

There are different options for reproducing the logo, depending on how many colours are being used.

Four (or more) colour printing and online

When reproduced as a positive image, the Pantone Matching System colours are:

  • Dark Blue / PMS 532 CV
  • Yellowy green / PMS 584 CV

Process colour should endeavour to reproduce these colours as closely as possible.

One & Two colour printing

If one of the colours is black, the logo may be reproduced either as a positive image (black) or negative image (white on a coloured or black background).

If black is not used, the logo must be reproduced as a negative image (white on a coloured or black background).
