Other (non-CBF) grant opportunities

January 2017

We keep an eye peeled for non-CBF opportunities that might be of interest to community broadcasters.  Here’s what we’ve taken note of lately:

  • The Australian Government’s Building Better Regions Fund provides funding for infrastructure projects and community investment that will create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future. There are two streams: Community Investments and Infrastructure Projects. Applications open 18 January 2017.
  • QLD:  Celebrating Multicultural Queensland grants support a diverse range of events and projects.  Apply by 3 February.
  • TAS: Tassie's 2017 Multicultural grants program have grants of up to $20,000 for a range of activities and projects.  Apply by 3 February.
  • VIC: Funding is available for community projects that preserve and share local Victorian history.  Apply for up to $15,000 by 31 January 2017.
  • [DGR status] Expressions of interest for Bennelong Foundation grants close on 3 February – apply for funding in the areas of education, training and employment, community health and migrant and Indigenous community welfare.

Spotted a grant opportunity that you think other community broadcasters might benefit from?  Send us an email at grants@cbf.com.au and we’ll share it.  Stay tuned to our Facebook page and twitter feed for alerts, links and ideas.
