Recent grant allocations We recently allocated our major round of grants, with 245 grants totalling almost $5 million being offered to applicants across our General, Transmission, Ethnic, Indigenous, CBOnline, Amrap, Training and RPH grant programs.
Second round of General - Content Development grants There's about $900,000 still to be allocated in a second round of General Content Development grants, which closes on 16 March 2012. Your station should apply.
TV Content Production grants first round opens Funds are now available to encourage participation in Australian community broadcasting through grants to support the production of television content for and by local communities.
Online application forms From the next grant round closing in March-April, we will be asking you to apply using an online grant application system called SmartyGrants.
Recent mail out Last week we mailed out a Grant Status Report to organisations that have received grants from the Foundation in the last few years. We also mailed out copies of our 2010/11 Annual Report.
CBF at CBAA and NEMBC Conferences Members of the CBF Board, Grants Advisory Committees and Staff attended the CBAA Conference on the Gold Coast and the NEMBC Conference in Launceston during November.
Financial Distress Assistance Policy At its November meeting, the CBF Board adopted a new policy to help the Foundation consider and respond to requests from stations and sector organisations that find themselves in extreme financial difficulty.
Movements and milestones at the Foundation The Foundation farewells Ruth Ashe, welcomes new Board members and congratulates Barbara Baxter and John Martin.
CBF Fraud Control plan The CBF Fraud Control Plan identifies risks and outlines appropriate prevention and detection strategies and procedures in relation to fraud.
Season's greetings and holiday office hours The CBF office will be closed from COB Friday 23 December, until 9am on Tuesday 3 January 2012.
