Redevelopment of the National Training Program A new 'Community Media Training Organisation' will be set up to manage the National Training Project and act as a national Registered Training Organisation. The NTP will also introduce a new category of non-accredited 'Pathways' training. These initiatives were decided on at a special meeting of the CBF Board held last week to consider the redevelopment of the NTP.
Election Campaign - Vision 2015 The 2010 Federal election is upon us and the community broadcasting sector's campaign for increased funding is in full swing.
Current Grant Opportunities Our largest grant round is looming. Guidelines and application forms are now available for General, Transmission Support and CBOnline grants, with most other categories set to open in the next week.
IRRR Project - Phase One complete The first phase of the IRRR Project which commenced in mid-2007 is now complete.
SACBA conference and Technorama CBF President John Martin and Grants Administrator Jon King will be travelling to South Australia in early August to attend the South Australian Community Broadcasting Association conference and the second national gathering of sector technicians at 'Technorama 2010'.

Playout system research To improve understanding of on-air playout systems available for community broadcasters, the Foundation has funded Christian Media Australia with a CBOnline Online Development grant to research what playout systems stations are using.
