There are a number of not-to-be-missed grant opportunities closing in March and April.
Second round of General Content Development grants
There's nearly $900,000 still to be allocated in a second round of our General Content Development grants.
Transmission Operational Subsidy grants
Gather together your receipts and start preparing your Transmission Operational Subsidy application - the deadline is Friday 16 March 2012.
NEW: TV Content Production grants
Almost $300,000 is available to distribute in the first round of grants available to support the production of programs and productions in the community television sector.
Online application forms
CBF grants are now applied for online. From the next grant round closing in March-April, we will be asking you to apply using an online grant application system called SmartyGrants.
How to apply for Ethnic Program Grants
All stations who applied for an Ethnic Program Grant in Round 1 2011/12 should have received by email last week a document titled 'How to apply' and an Excel spreadsheet titled 'Summary of Programs' particular to your station.
CBF heads to Ballarat
CBF Executive Director Ian Stanistreet and Grants Administrators Jo Curtin and Georgie Boucher will be attending the Southern Community Media Association's (SCMA) Regional, Rural and Sub-Metro Broadcasters' Conference in Ballarat from 2 - 4 March 2012.
