Save time applying for your Ethnic Program grants
To save you time, stations that received an Ethnic Program grant in the last round were mailed an Ethnic E.2.2 Summary of Programs form on 5 February 2010.

Reminder: Transmission Operational Subsidy grants
Applications for Transmission Operational Subsidies are already coming in ahead of the 11 March 2010 closing date, indicating the sector's eagerness to be reimbursed for their transmission-related costs.

CBF heads to Wangaratta
CBF President John Martin and Grants Administrator Barbara Baxter will be attending the Southern Community Media Association's (SCMA) Regional, Rural and Sub-Metro Broadcasters' Conference in Wangaratta from 12 - 14 March 2009.

Progress with the IRRR Project
The IRRR Project is a $3.3m. remote Indigenous radio infrastructure renewal project being administered by the CBF for the Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.

Sector advocacy for increased funding support
The community broadcasting sector's Funding Strategy Group, a working group of peak community broadcasting sector organisations dealing with funding support development has recently been treading the corridors of Parliament House.

Other (non-CBF) opportunity: Adobe Software Donation
'Gifts in Kind International' facilitate an ongoing software donation program to provide non-profit organisations that meet their guidelines with Adobe software for a small fee.

Other (non-CBF) opportunity: Westpac Community Treasurers' Award
If you think your Treasurer is the bee's knees, nominate them for a Westpac Commmunity Treasurers' Award and you could win $5,000 for your organisation.

Other (non-CBF) opportunity: Ritchies Community Benefit Card
If you have a Ritchies supermarket in your community, one percent of all of your grocery bills could be donated to your station or organisation through the Ritchies' Community Benefit Card program.
